As we arrived at this location in the very early afternoon, the sun was just starting to rise high enough to wash out the horizon. Normally, such a view is less than idea for a photograph. However, this time of year, the leaves were in peak color, just days away from falling to the ground. The foreground and horizon combined to create this surreal view.
